About the Role - Business Development Representative
We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate person to join our team. The position will focus on building new business in the North America market for FinScan’s leading autograding optimizer, BoardMasterNOVA. FinScan’s BoardMasterNOVA is designed for green and dry lumber grading and board edger/ripping optimization.
Responsibilities will include creating a business development plan for the territory, discovery new projects, leveraging our support team on sales call presentations, maintain a clean list of prospects at all stages of the sales cycle.
A background in the forestry industry is a must with previous experience in selling long sales cycle manufacturing equipment to sawmills in North America. Sales and marketing experience is required. How to handle a pipeline and own the sales cycle is key. Knowledge of common grading rules is a plus.
This person must also have professional written and oral skills. Strong computer skills is a must in this fast pace industry. Expect a bit of travel for visits with prospects and customers.
